LSUHSC-Shreveport - Office for Student Affairs

Student Locker policy

Student lockers are located opposite the banks of elevators on most floors. The original and replacement keys are issued through the Office for Student Affairs.

A student may have only one locker. First-year medical students are required to have an 8th floor locker. A few exercise room lockers are available to upperclassmen, and are assigned on a "first-come, first-served" basis.

If a graduating student (or other departing student) fails to vacate an exercise room locker upon leaving the medical school, the Office for Student Affairs will make a reasonable effort to contact the student by phone. If the student cannot be contacted within 24 hours of the initial attempt of notification, the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs will authorize removal of the lock. The contents of the locker will be removed and saved for 7 days in the Office for Student Affairs, after which time the contents will be discarded.
