Physical Plant and Facility Planning is committed to providing professional services for construction and maintenance of the LSUHSC-S medical, educational and research facilities, to promote the programs of the institution and provide the best possible environment for patients, students, staff and the public.

The Physical Plant staff consists of approximately 110 personnel with responsibility for over 2 million square feet and serving over 6,000 employees and students.
