1) It is Monday A.M. As you walk through the nursery you notice a baby who looks yellow. 2) The admitting nurse calls you to evaluate a baby whose respiratory rate is 82. The baby was born at 36 weeks gestation by dates. The birth weight is 3800 grams (LGA). 3) The mother of this newborn had no prenatal care and had a fever of 102 F during labor.
