Major areas of research interest:

  1. laryngeal motor control study using electrophysiological methodes, including electromyography, reflexomyography and evoked brainstem response.
  2. Laryngeal biomechanical study for glottal movement analysis.
  3. Clinical evaluation of neurolaryngology.

The techniques and procedures involve laryngeal image analysis (VSL); voice analysis; electromyography; evoked brainstem responses (auditory and laryngeal); electrostimulation; acoustic nasometer; aerodynamic analysis of the vocal tract; and electrophysiological signal processing.
