Your Calendar With A Friend
Have you ever been placed in the position of managing another person’s calendar? Wouldn’t it be easier if you could open that calendar on your machine and within your email? Well, we have gathered some steps for you from Microsoft Outlook’s own help feature that will help you do that very thing. As always, make sure you have permission from the person who will be doing the sharing (a.k.a. the sharer).
To Share A Calendar With Another (done in the sharer’s email):
In the Folder List, right-click the folder you want to share (calendar
in this case), and then click Properties on the shortcut menu.
If the folder list is not showing, click View à Folder List from the menu bar
Click the Permissions tab.
Click Add.
In the Type name or select from list box, enter the name of
the person you want to grant sharing permissions to.
Click Add, and then click OK.
In the Name box, click the name of the person you just added.
Under Permissions, choose the settings you want. Click OK when done
