Verification of Louisiana Medicaid can be done free of charge through our access link to the Department of Health & Hospitals' Medicaid Eligibility Determinations System (MEDS). Below are the steps on how to gain access to their system:
Step 1: Acquiring the necessary software, system user ID's and passwords for access:

Step 2: Logging into
LSUHSC's Netmaster System:
Once you have TCP3270 installed on your computer, a Netmaster User ID
and Password, and a DHH User ID and Password, you are ready to access the
DHH MEDSystem. Open TCP3270 to the Netmaster Login Screen and log in using
your Netmaster Password and User ID. If you have problems with the Netmaster
User ID and Password, call the Desktop Support Helpdesk at x55470, menu option
2.

Step 3: Netmaster Command Prompt Menu Screen:
At the Command prompt, type "L DHHMEDS" (without quotes and
a space between L and D) to go to the DHH Customer Control System Sign-On
Screen for MEDS CICS access:

Step 4: DHH Customer Information Control System Sign-On Screen:
Enter your DHH User ID & Password: (If you experience problems with your
DHH User ID or Password, call DSS Information Security at 225-342-4177 or
225-342-5273. The LSUHSC-S Desktop Support Helpdesk cannot assist you with
resetting your DHH Password.

Step 5: DHH Main Menu - Production:
Select MSDM from the menu by placing an X in the field to the left of the
menu item and pressing the enter key.:
