Y2K Issue
As the
end of the year rapidly approaches, Computer Services-Shreveport has decided to
put together this special newsletter to provide information to all LSUHSC-Shreveport
employees. It is our hope that this information will assist you in applying necessary
patches to any LSUHSC computers in your area that may need patching. As always,
our Helpdesk is available from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday (non-holiday),
to help answer any questions you may have. The articles in this newsletter assume
that machines are connected to the network and only discuss officially supported
applications. If at any time you have problems installing patches from our in-house
servers, please refer to the article "How To Update From Microsoft"
for downloading updates directly from Microsoft’s website.
