Are You Protected?

With all the viruses going around out there, some of you are probably wondering if your computer is completely protected. Well you don’t have to worry anymore, because you are about to be instructed on how you can update your computer’s Virus Scan and keep it updated so that you will,

with very little effort, have a computer that is equipped and ready to protect. The following instructions will walk you through installing McAfee Viruscan over the network for Win95/Win98 and Windows for Workgroups 3.11. To determine what version of Windows you have, please see the article titled "Determining Your Version".

Note: If you have Norton Antivirus on your machine, you must uninstall this software first. If you wish to keep Norton Antivirus, please do not install McAfee as there could be potential conflicts between the 2 programs.

Before installing this or any other program, you should always run maintenance on your machine. Please refer to the article "Cleaning Up My Machine" for instructions on running scandisk and defrag.
