Management

• Perform Complete History and Physical Exam
  

• Perform Complete Consultation

• Correlation of clinical information with pathologic techniques

• Interpret following lab tests:
  • CBC
  • All Coagulation tests
  • Bone Marrow Aspirate Bx
  • Pathology special stains
• Routine Care and Management of Indwelling IV catheters

• Chemotherapy Toxicity

• Hospice referral and management and end of life care

• Perform a complete CBC

• Assess and Measure palpable tumors and tumors on X-Rays

• Assess Disease response to treatment

• Pain Management

• Bone Marrow Aspirate and Biopsy

• Order Chemotherapy and Biologic Response Modifiers(requires Faculty co-signature)

• Chemotherapy: Intra-thecal

• Chemotherapy: Intra-cavitary

• Chemotherapy: Intra-lesional

• Chemotherapy: Topical

• FNA of lesions

• All procedures usually granted to a Board Certified Internist

Requires Supervision by a Teaching (Faculty) Physician or Upper Level Resident determined by the individual Resident level of performance
