The ongoing faculty evaluation of students is designed to identify those students
in need of additional assistance before remediation is required. Students who
are performing below clinical expectations will be notified and invited to work
with teaching faculty to improve their grades.
- Failure to improve the clinical grade by the end of the course will result
in failure of the course without remediation.
- Failure to satisfactorily complete assigned activities by the end of the
course, unless specifically excused or provided an extension, will result
in failure of the course without remediation.
- Failure to average above a "C" on didactic evaluations will result in failure
of the course, which may be remediated. Students failing the didactic evaluations
will be offered the opportunity to retake the final examination once, after
a period of directed self-study.
