Typical findings in an asthmatic chest radiograph include
hyperexpanded lungs evident best with flattened diaphragms and narrowed
cardiac shadow and mediastinum.
In the CXR to the left, there is an opacity in the right upper lung which may represent an infiltrate. Note the 'barrel' appearance of the chest in the radiograph below, especially evident in the lateral view. |
