LSUHSC-S observes fourteen (14) holidays.

Eligibility for Holiday Pay:

  • Employee must be in a pay status on the last schedule work day before the holiday or the first scheduled work day after the holiday.
  • Should a holiday fall while an employee is on vacation or sick leave, that day will be charged as a holiday and will not be charged against the employee's vacation or sick accruals
