Annual
Leave
Granted
to an employee for the purpose of restoration and maintenance of work
efficiency, or transaction of personal affairs.
Proper
authorization must be obtained before taking annual leave.
Rules:
-
No
advance of future accrual of annual leave is allowed, and the minimum
charge to an annual leave account is one tenth (1/10) hour.

Supervisors
should ensure employee has adequate accrual before approving
leave.

If
employee does not have adequate accrual, leave should be recorded
without pay (LWOP).
Accrual
Conditions:
- No
sick or annual leave is accrued while employee is on leave without pay,
educational leave or gratis employment.
