The resident expands Surgical Skills learned during previous years. Serves as Teaching Resident for PGY 1's and PGY 2's. Plus:



The resident performs Repair of Genitalia: Complex*. Performs Closure of Evisceration/Dehiscence; Complicated*. Performs Transfer of Pedicle Flap*. Performs Removal of Foreign Body; Deep or Complicated. Performs Lymphadenectomy; Ilioinguinal, pelvic and retroperitoneal*. Performs Feeding jejunostomy*. Performs Enteroenterostomy, anastomosis of intestine*. Performs Colectomy, partial*. Performs Colostomy; loop or end*. Performs Wedge Biopsy of Liver*. Performs Drainage of Retroperitoneal Abscess, open or percutaneous*. Performs Renal exploration and drainage of blood, pus, or urine*. Performs Open Renal Biopsy. Performs Nephrectomy, simple; including any approach*. Performs Pyeloplasty or endopyelotomy*. Performs Renal endoscopy*. Performs Ureterotomy*. Performs Ureterolithotomy*. Performs Excision of Urachal cyst or sinus*. Performs Vesical diverticulectomy*. Performs Closure of Vesicovaginal fistula*. Performs Cutaneous vesicostomy*. Performs Cystourethrostomy with ureteroscopic manipulations*. Performs Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL)*. Performs Transurethral resection/incision of bladder neck*. Performs Transurethral resection of prostate*. Performs Transurethral resection/fulguration of bladder tumors*.

Performs Transurethral or perineal drainage of prostatic abscess*. Performs Excision of urethral diverticulum*. Performs Excision of urethral prolapse or caruncle*. Performs Placement, removal or revision of artificial sphincter*. Performs Amputation of penis, partial or radical*. Performs Plastic operation on the penis to correct angulation*. Performs Penile venous occlusive procedure*. Performs Orchidopexy (or exploration for testis) for cryporchidism*. Performs Vasovasostomy/Epididymovasostomy*. Performs Prostatectomy, subtotal (retropubic or suprapubic)*. Performs Interstitial (prostate) Implantation of radioactive seeds*. Performs Transurethral Microwave Thermotherapy (TUMT) of Prostate*. Performs Vaginoplasty/perineoplasty*. Performs Anterior colporrhaphy (cystocele repair). Performs Pubovaginal sling for incontinence +/- bone anchor placement*. Performs Artificial insemination*.
